People Robert Gajda has joined NJVC, a provider of information technology solutions to the Department of Defense, as chief strategy officer. Gajda previously served as the National Geospatial- Intelligence Agency Intelligence Collection Architecture executive. In this position, he was the senior NGA representative to the joint intelligence community and DoD Intelligence Collection Architecture. In addition, NJVC has announced executive promotions to the following positions: Vito DiNapoli, senior vice president of corporate operations; Patrick O’Neil, vice president of operations; and Mike Vosburgh, director of NJVC’s corporate project management center of excellence. LizardTech, a provider of software solutions for managing and distributing digital content, has hired Jeff Young as business development manager for geospatial solutions. Prior to joining LizardTech, Young held positions in business development, consulting and sales with several geospatial companies such as Leica Geosystems, Space Imaging and Bentley Systems. Anthony J. Pietropola was recently named president of GeoDecisions, an information technology company specializing in geospatial solutions. Dwight A. Beranek, a 35-year veteran of the Army Corps of Engineers, has been named market services manager for the Department of Defense programs of Michael Baker Jr. Inc., an engineering unit of Michael Baker Corp. Flight Landata, a developer and manufacturer of ultrahigh resolution, airborne digital imaging systems used for aerial mapping and ISR collection, has announced the election of Bruce Blessington as nonexecutive chairman of the board, and the appointment of Jeffrey Smith as chief executive officer. ♦ Back to Top
